The compact fiber array design allows a high number of collimated output beams with minimal angular deviation. Thanks to precise active alignment, the pointing accuracy is better than 0.2°. The selection of a suitable microlens array (MLA) depends on customer requirements for beam diameter, fiber type, and operating wavelength. For easier handling and integration, the fiber assembly with MLA can be housed in a stainless steel flange.
Active alignment of optical fibers to the MLA ensures high-precision beam shaping with minimal tilt errors. The 2D fiber array layout, including spacing and dimensions, is fully customizable. The fiber outputs can be connectorized with E2000, LC, SC, FC, ST, or MPO MTP and MMC connectors. SQS specializes in manufacturing custom solutions, offering compatibility with SM, PM, and MM (STEP/GRIN) fibers, as well as tailored MLA housings and fiber layouts to meet specific application needs.
