Round Fiber Optic Bundles

Round-to-round straight fiber bundles are designed for precise light transmission in optical systems. We offer FC, SMA905, or fully custom ferrules—metal or glass—manufactured directly at SQS for maximum accuracy. Core diameters range from 50 µm to 1000 µm, with fiber counts and lengths tailored to customer specifications. Standard overall diameters are 1.9 mm for FC and 2.6 mm for SMA905; larger sizes are available with custom ferrules.

Bundles can include multimode fibers (Low OH, High OH), UV-resistant fibers for solarization protection, and options for vacuum or extreme temperature environments. Mechanical protection is provided by stainless steel tubing or PVC jackets, and end faces can be ARC-coated to minimize back reflections. These assemblies are ideal for spectroscopy, laser delivery, medical devices, and custom optical systems.
