Custom round-to-round fiber optic bundles with epoxy-bonded fibers for light collection, transmission and coupling.
Fibers are bonded into a common ferrule, with or without polyimide primary coating. Custom fiber count, core diameter, fiber type, ferrule and connector configurations are available.
The bonded construction does not provide defined fiber-to-fiber mapping between the two ends. For applications requiring precise fiber positioning, SQS offers 2D fiber matrices with positioning accuracy down to 1 µm.
For 1 × N and N × 1 signal splitting or combining, fiber randomization is available.
