Round Fan-Out Fiber Optic Bundles

1-to-N fan-out fiber bundles split light from a round input into multiple individual fibers. The round interface can be FC/PC, SMA905, or custom ferrules—metal or glass—manufactured directly at SQS. Standard overall diameters are 1.9 mm for FC and 2.6 mm for SMA905, with larger sizes available via custom ferrules.

Individual fibers are terminated with FC/PC, SMA905, ST, or other connectors and can be numbered according to their position in the circular arrangement. Core sizes range from 50 µm to 1000 µm, with multimode fibers (Low OH, High OH) and solarization-resistant options for UV. Mechanical protection includes flexible stainless steel tubing, PVC, or PTFE for chemical resistance and durability. End faces can be ARC-coated to minimize back reflections.
