Bifurcated reflection probes are designed for reflection and backscatter measurements, combining three fiber legs in one assembly. One leg connects to the light source (SMA905 or FC/PC), the second to the sample (SMA, FC, or custom probe), and the third to the spectrometer. The spectrometer leg can be arranged in a linear structure or circular bundle, terminated with SMA905 or FC/PC connectors.
Core sizes range from 50 µm to 1000 µm, with multimode fibers (Low OH, High OH) and solarization-resistant fibers for UV applications. Mechanical protection includes flexible stainless steel tubing, PVC, or PTFE for durability. End faces can be ARC-coated to minimize back reflections. Lengths are fully customizable to meet application requirements.
