We manufacture V-groove fiber arrays with a high number of collimated output beams, designed for precision optical applications. Unlike 2D fiber matrix arrays, where fibers are distributed across a surface, this solution arranges fibers in a single linear row, providing compact and efficient collimation.
The arrays can be equipped with single-mode (SM), polarization-maintaining (PM), or multimode (MM) fibers. Customers can define key parameters such as the number of channels, fiber pitch, fiber type, overall dimensions, collimated beam diameter, and working distance.
Typical angular deviation of the output beams is less than 0.2°. The entire fiber assembly can be integrated into a metal flange for easier handling and mounting in the intended application.
Advantages
- Compact solution with multiple precisely collimated beams
- Actively aligned MLA minimizes tilt and alignment errors
- Customizable design (fibers, pitch, beam size, working distance)
- Easy handling and mounting with metal flange integration
- High precision with angular deviation < 0.2°
Applications
- Free-space beam combiners and splitters in optical communication systems
- Multi-channel coupling into spectrometers and interferometers
- Parallel optical interconnects for data centers and high-performance computing
- Beam delivery in sensing and metrology setups (e.g., LIDAR, OCT)
- Laser diode bar collimation for material processing and illumination
