Fiber Optic Collimators

At SQS, we design high-precision fiber optic collimators using C-lens and GRIN lens technology. With a beam waist of 150–1000 µm, our collimators ensure minimal insertion loss and precise beam alignment. We offer standard single-channel collimators as well as collimator fiber arrays, customized to meet specific optical system requirements.

Our collimators support single-mode (SM), polarization-maintaining (PM), and multimode (MM) fibers with connector options including FC, SC, LC, and E2000. Active alignment minimizes angular misalignment to less than 2 mrad, ensuring high optical accuracy relative to the mechanical axis of the lens.

Standard lens diameters of 1.0 mm, 1.8 mm, or 2.5 mm ensure compatibility with various optical setups. All lenses feature anti-reflective (AR) coatings to reduce back-reflection and enhance transmission efficiency. Collimators can also be integrated into custom metal housings, manufactured on our CNC machining centers for maximum durability and precision.
