Fiber Optic Collimators

High-precision pigtailed C-lens and GRIN fiber optic collimators. Customizable solutions for minimal angular misalignment and versatile applications.

Our pigtailed C-lens and GRIN lens collimators, along with 2D matrix fiber arrays with microlenses, ensure precise beam alignment. We actively glue lenses to fibers, minimizing angular misalignment. Custom manufacturing is available, and collimators can be housed in metal sleeves or flanges produced with our precise machining centers.

At SQS, we guarantee the precision of our collimators. Our collimators are manufactured with single-mode (SM), multi-mode (MM), or polarization-maintaining (PM) fibers, ensuring versatility for various applications. The fibers can be terminated with different types of connectors, such as FC, LC, E2000, ST and for multi-fiber 2D matrix arrays with microlenses, MPO/MTP® and the newly introduced MMC®. Our single collimators achieve angular misalignment better than 2 mrad, while our 2D fiber arrays with microlenses achieve pointing accuracy better than 0.2°.
