A planar (PLC) splitter consists of three basic parts: an input fiber array, a waveguide chip, and an output fiber array. All three parts of the splitter must be connected with high precision to guarantee low insertion loss, high return loss, and high uniformity of the output signals.

We guarantee parameters across the entire spectrum of transmitted wavelengths, across the entire temperature range and for all polarization states of the transmitted optical signal.

Advantages

  • Low insertion loss
  • High uniformity across the entire spectrum 1260 - 1650 nm
  • Wavelength-independent optical parameters
  • Wide range of connector interfaces
  • Available in PM fiber version
  • Available in high-performance version

Applications

  • FTTH, PON
  • CATV
  • Optical measuring devices and systems
